Anne West Lindsey District Library Board of Trustees Meeting
July 26, 2016
All board members were present except Elaine Miskell. Staff members attending were Mary Stoner, Pam Alstat, and Dave Cole.
The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by board president, Bill Slider and a quorum was determined.
The agenda was approved with a motion by Jim Koonce; seconded by Debbie Johnson.
Minutes from the June 28, 2016 meeting were read and approved with a motion made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Pat Searcy.
The financial secretary’s report was presented by Dave Cole and accepted with a motion by Jim Koonce; seconded by Sheri Hunter.
The library director’s report was presented by Mary Stoner and accepted with a motion from Butch Waggoner; seconded by Jim Koonce.
A motion was made by Debbie Johnson; seconded by Butch Waggoner to upgrade the Library router with a budget ceiling of $1,200.
A motion was made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Jim Koonce to accept Section X of the Policy Manual concerning Displays, Exhibits, Social Media, and
Employee Ethics.
A motion was made by Debbie Johnson; seconded by Sheri Hunter to accept the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance 16-01.
A motion was made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Jim Koonce to form a Building Addition Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 pm with a motion by Debbie Johnson; seconded by Butch Waggoner. The next board meeting will be at 7 p.m. on August 22, 2016.
