City of Mount Carmel Zoning Board met Sept. 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

• Call to Order 

o Pledge of Allegiance 

o Roll Call 

• Approve Minutes 

o Meeting held Tuesday August 10, 2021 

• Swearing in All petitioners and persons wishing to address the zoning board. 

o Christopher/Katie Slane (Variance required set-back) 

o Zanetis Oil, Brian Schuh (Variance required set-back) 

o Objectors if present 

• Application 073020211V 

o Petition for a Variance to allow reduction of required side set-back from 9’ to 1’ to allow the construction of a garage on the premises commonly known as 1532  N. Cherry Street 

o Questions and Answers. 

o Decision: recommend approval / Do not recommend approval 

o Instructions to petitioner  

▪ The zoning board is only an advisory board and final approval will be made by the Mount Carmel City Council. 

▪ Applicant must attend next council meeting (Monday September 20, 2021). 

▪ Applicant may leave the meeting at this time. 

• Application 081020211V 

o Petition for a Variance to allow reduction of required Rear set-back from 40’ to  9’ to allow the sub-division of the current parcel on the premises commonly  known as 2710 N. Cherry Street 

o Questions and Answers.  

o Decision: recommend approval / Do not recommend approval 

o Instructions to petitioner 

▪ The zoning board is only an advisory board and final approval will be made by the  Mount Carmel City Council. 

▪ Applicant must attend next council meeting (Monday September 20, 2021). 

▪ Applicant may leave the meeting at this time.
