The New Hope Board of Education met on December 19, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in the work room of the school.
President Jeremy Vaughan called the meeting to order at 5:58 P.M.

Jeremy Gray made a motion to approve the November 21, 2023 regular meeting minutes with no corrections noted. Second by Brandon Fry.

Superintendent Julie Harrelson presented the Treasurer’s Report and current financial information. Bank balances as of November 30, 2023:
Fairfield National Bank Checking: $1,448,122.29
IPTIP: $1,009.09
Fairfield National Bank Money Market: $474,029.61
Fairfield National Bank CD: $500,000.00
Ryan Green made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report. Second by Brandon Fry.

Jeremy Gray made a motion to pay the bills with no additions or exclusions noted. Second by Ryan Green.

Mrs. Harrelson presented the Superintendent’s Report. Fund balances for each fund announced prior to the tax levy approval. The girls 7th grade tournament went smoothly and profited approximately $2,500.00.

1. Ryan Green made a motion to approve tax levy at 4.99%. Second by Brandon Fry.

Nay: None Carried
Brandon Fry made a motion to enter executive session at 6:03 P.M. for student discipline, personnel hiring and appointment. Second by Jeremy Gray.

Nay: None Carried
Brandon Fry made a motion to return to open session at 6:27 P.M. Second by Jeremy Gray.
