Rep. Windhorst Marks National Child Abuse Prevention Month
In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, efforts are being made to raise awareness and support survivors of child abuse and neglect. According to Rep. Windhorst, "National Child Abuse Prevention Month is a time to bring awareness to this issue and to honor and uplift the survivors of child abuse and neglect."
One crucial aspect emphasized during this month is the importance of recognizing signs of child abuse. Rep. Windhorst highlighted that "Knowing the signs, such as sudden changes in behavior and unexplained injuries, can be a powerful tool to combat child abuse."
