City of Bushnell City Council met Dec. 15.

Mayor Norton called the meeting to order

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.

Consent Agenda

Ald. Yocum made a motion to approve the consent agenda which includes.

  1. Approval of Minutes from December 1, 2025
  2. Accept November Financial Report

Ald. Allen seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with the results as follows:

*Mayor Norton stated that a local businessman donated money towards decorating The Depot.

Personnel/Finance/Budget

*Next meeting December 29, 2025 4:30 @ City Hall

Public Works

*Next meeting December 17, 2025 4:00@ City Hall

*The committee will review water rates with discussion from Utility Department and water department.

*The invoice from Quality Rolloff for $1,181 for sledge removal was considerably less then the land application.

Police/Liquor/ESDA

*Livestock in city limits has been tabled at this time

*ESDA is trying to get a storm spotter class in Bushnell in February

Parks/Recreation/Real Estate

*Nothing to report

Engineering Report

*Update on Washington Street Project – work has stopped due to weather, they just need to Cross Hess St and finish out.

Economic Development

*Nothing to report

MAEDCO

*CEO class of 2026 will be doing their Class Business, Christmas Movies Drive in style for $25.00 a car.

*MAEDCO annual meeting is January 29, 2026 @ Park Place

*Enterprise Zone meeting in January.
