State Representative Patrick Windhorst will hold traveling office hours in four communities within the 117th district next week. Windhorst or a member of his staff will be present to help constituents with state government matters and answer questions about legislative issues.

“Every summer, I look forward to my traveling office hours series,” Windhorst said. “I believe strongly in the importance of meeting the citizens that I serve in their communities, where they live and work. I invite anyone who needs help with an issue or would like to meet with me or my staff to stop in and say hello.”

The schedule for the office hours is as follows: On Tuesday, August 12, sessions will take place at Norris City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and at Shawneetown City Hall from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Thursday, August 14, office hours will be held at Vienna City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and at Eddyville Town Hall Building from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

No RSVP is necessary for attendance; however, those wishing to set up an appointment can contact Windhorst’s Harrisburg office by phone or email.

Windhorst, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state’s 117th House District after succeeding Natalie Phelps Finnie.
