This week marks the 51st anniversary of National EMS Week, which was established by President Gerald Ford in 1974. The theme for this year’s observance is “We care. For everyone.” Acknowledgment is given to all first responders in emergency medical services for their hard work and dedication, which saves countless lives daily.
