Anna School District 37 is holding tryouts for softball and baseball.
Baseball tryouts will be held from 9-11 a.m. Monday to Wednesday, July 25-27. Softball tryouts will run from 8-10 a.m. Monday, July 25, and Tuesday, July 26. Both tryouts are at the Anna City Park.
Tryouts are for students in sixth, seventh or eighth grade at Anna Junior High School. Student athletes must have a current (within one year) physical on file and a signed athletic waiver in order to participate.
Any athletes who are new to the school district must register before trying out for any sport. Registration for new athletes will be held from 8 to noon on Wednesday, July 20, at the district's office, 301 S. Green St.
