Registration for the Carbondale Jr. Dawgs Basketball League is underway until Dec. 30, according to www.cpkd.org.
The league is for boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The cost to register is $25 for a resident and $31.25 for a nonresident. No late registration will be allowed.
Practices will begin Jan. 9-13, depending on the grade level. The first day of games is Jan. 14, with the final day of games set for Feb. 25.
To register, go to the LIFE Community Center, 2500 W. Sunset Drive; call 618-549-4222; go to www.cpkd.org; or mail a filled-out registration/waiver form to Carbondale Park District, P.O. Box 1326, Carbondale, IL 62903. Checks should be made payable to "Carbondale Park District"; cash and VISA, Discover and MasterCard are accepted. Registration/waiver forms are available in the park district's fall/winter programs book.
