The Vienna City Council met Oct. 12 to review the 2015 financial report.

The city council of the city of Vienna met in special session, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Vienna City Hall with the following members and guests:

There being a quorum, Mayor Simmons called the meeting of the Vienna City Council to order at 6:30 p.m.
Alderman Williams started the meeting reviewing the April 30, 2015 annual financial report. Council presented questions concerning the financial statements. Treasurer Zoeckler provided a profit and lost statement from May 1, 2015 thru April 30, 2016, the tax increment financing fund financial report along with the trial balance sheet (Treasurer report) for the October 19, 2016. City council requested additional information of the overtime breakdown along with a list of City bonds on a separate report monthly with the treasurer report.
Mayor Simmons noted that Alderman Owen and Alderman Racey will handle contract negotiations.
As there was no further business to discuss, Alderwoman Myrick made a motion to adjourn the regular meeting.
The motion was seconded by Alderwoman Hill. The was as follows: Hill-aye, Evan-aye, Myrick-aye, Owen-aye, Racey-aye, and Williams-aye. Motion carried. Mayor Simmons declared the meeting adjourned at 7:53 p.m.
