Frankfort library trustees enter executive session

The Frankfort Public Library District Board of Trustees met Oct. 12 to enter an executive session.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the board:

FRANKFORT PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FRANKFORT PUBLIC LIBRARY OCTOBER 12, 2016 8:00 PM

CALL TO ORDER: President Lisa Stephens called the Executive Session to order at 8:08 P.M.

I. ROLL CALL: Trustee Ruiz called the Roll Call.

Present: Jan Look, Lisa Stephens, Erin Skibinski, Cristina Ruiz, Don Olivieri, John Tylk. Also present: Julia Labuda, Pierre Gregoire, Library Director

II. VOTE TO APPOINT NEW TRUSTEE

Motion made by John Tylk to nominate Julia Labuda to fill the Trustee seat vacated by Michael Arcy. Seconded by Don Olivieri. All trustees voted “Aye.” Motion Carried.

III. SWEARING IN OF NEW TRUSTEE

Julia Labuda recited the Oath of Office as administered by Cristina Ruiz, Secretary

IV. APPROVAL TO GO TO BID FOR REPLACEMENT HVAC SYSTEM Trustee Olivieri stated two changes to make in the HVAC bid document. Trustee Tylk moved to go to bid with Trustee Olivieri’s amendments. Seconded by Trustee Look. All trustees voted “Aye.” Motion carried.

IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION

Motion made by Cristina Ruiz and seconded by Jan Look to go into executive session to discuss the Library Director’s annual review. All trustees voted “Aye.” Motion carried.

The Board withdrew to executive session at 8:24PM.

IV. CALL TO ORDER: President Lisa Stephens called the Regular Meeting back to

order at 9:14 P.M.

V. ADJOURNMENT

Motion made by Erin Skibinski and seconded by Cristina Ruiz to adjourn the meeting. All trustees voted “Aye.” Motion Carried. President Lisa Stephens adjourned the meeting at 9:16 P.M.
