Massac County school board estimates tax levy amounts

The Massac County Unit School District #1 Board of Education met Nov. 28 to estimate tax levy amounts.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the board:

The regular meeting will begin at Approximately 7:30 p.m.

NOTE: Occasionally matters can keep the Board in closed session for an extended period of time. The open session can sometimes start later than 7:30, but will never begin earlier.

Enrollment report, unfunded mandates report, visit from State Superintendent Tony Smith.

The Illinois School Code states that within 30 calendar days of receiving their school and district Report Cards, each school district should present its Report Cards at a regular school board meeting, post them on the district’s website, and make them available to parents. To provide a copy of all seven buildings plus District would be well over 100 pages. The 20-page DISTRICT report is provided. All others are available via link to the Illinois Interactive Report Card on the District Web Site or by going to:
