The Williamson County Republican Women of Southern Illinois recently announced its newly elected officers for 2017.
The announcement was made on its Facebook page.
“Congratulations to our new officers, who will assume club responsibilities in January,” the post said. “They are: Patti Howard, president; Nancy Davis, vice president; Joan Dietzel, recording secretary; Pam McReynolds, corresponding secretary; and Kathleen French, treasurer. We thank our current officers for their service this past year!”
The newly elected officers will begin their terms in January.
The Facebook post said the Williamson County Republican Women of Southern Illinois is “a place where Republican women can connect” and “a group of dedicated women that promote the ideals of the Republican Party.”
Its mission, as outlined on its Facebook page, is as follows:
“To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation, to facilitate cooperation among Republican Women, to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates.”
The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
