People liked the "Ugly Christmas Suit" so much when Tom Harness began wearing it that they asked to take a picture with him, or invite him out so they could be seen with the jolly man.
He later turned the costume into a fundraiser for charity -- and just earned $5,000 for The Promise in Marion.
While others may have an ugly Christmas sweater for holiday parties, Harness of Harness Digital Marketing has a full red leisure suit. The ensemble features snowflakes, Santa, reindeer silhouettes and Christmas trees.

The Promise of Marion is a drop-in shelter and day respite that was formed five years ago by a former pastor and his wife, Peggy, and Dave Maragni. The facility has a food pantry, lounging center and counseling area.
