Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Feb. 23.

Here is the minutes as provided by the Board:

Discussion had with Greg Smothers, County Engineer on upgrading Crabtree School Road.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry, accepting RESOLUTION NO. 17-02-23-23 A Resolution Relating to Participation by Elected Officials in the Illinois

Municipal Retirement Fund. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Ron Ellis and seconded by Jim Marlo, accepting Cost Study Engagement Letter. Roll call vote taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron

Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving Whiteash Sewer Hook Up Application. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent

Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Discussion had with Angie Kochan, Circuit Clerk and Joe Helleny, concerning credit/debit and cash machine to reduce cash coming into the office.

Discussion had with Brinson Venable, Treasurer and Karrie Harris, Payroll concerning payroll policy. Ron Ellis will work with Karrie Harris and Jessica Force on a checklist for

new employees and a policy and procedures for payroll.

Update on fixed assets at this time nothing has been done. Brinson has asked for a report from Jerry and has given him thirty days.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All

members present voting Yea; motion carried.
