Williamson County Board of Commissioners met March 21.

Here is the minutes as provided by the Board:

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Jim Marlo, approving the Raffle and Poker Run Application for Motorcycle Riders Memorial of Illinois. Roll call vote was taken

as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving RESOLUTION NO. 17-3-21-28 IHDA SINGLE FAMILY REHAB GRANT. Roll call vote was taken as

follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving RESOLUTION NO. 17-3-21-29 IHDA ABANDON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MUNICIPAL RELIEF

PROGRAM. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Jim Marlo, approving the Notice of Award for Cypress Garden Storm Sewer to E.T. Simonds Construction Company in the

amount of $470,719.80. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Discussion had with Celeste Sollers, Economic Development and Rick Hartke, Franklin-Williamson Bi-County about Abandon Property Grant. It was decided that there is a

Resolution that needs to be established before Celeste Sollers can proceed. Wendy Cunningham, Assistant State’s Attorney will try and have that ready before April 2017

board meeting.

Intergovernmental Agreement with Village of Colp for the County Property for the Purpose of a New Playground. Tabled.

Discussion was had on a request by EMA for a grant to provide tables for the third floor board room. Kelly Urhahn will be applying for grant through EMA.

Discussion had with Jeff Robinson, Supervisor of Assessment on land swap acquisition. Jeff has found a couple of mistakes needing to be corrected and Wendy

Cunningham, Assistant State’s Attorney will be talking with attorney to see if a survey is needed.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Brent Gentry to recess until March 22, 2017 at 1:15. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea;

Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
