For the second straight year, four SIU women golfers were named to the All-Scholar Team. | www.siusalukis.com
Being named to the All-American Scholar Team by the Women’s College Golf Coaches Association has become pretty par for the course for four Saluki students.
Southern Illinois University seniors Brooke Cusumano and Kristie Yang and juniors are Alice Ho and Hanna Netisingha returned to the prestigious list this year for their accomplishments on and off the grass. Students must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and be an important part of their team.
This is the sixth straight year that at least three Salukis have been named to the list.
Cusumano capped off a solid career at SIU that saw her make the Scholar Team all four years. She took home another award earlier this year when she won the Missouri Valley Conference Elite 18 award.
