White County Housing Authority met March 9.

Here is the minutes provided by the Authority:

The regular monthly meeting of the White County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners convened at 9:00 a.m., at White County Housing Authority Community Center, Crossville, IL.

Those present for the meeting were: Judy Daubs Chairperson, Joe Bisch Vice Chairman, Diana Campbell, Wes Trout, Christine Wells Commissioners, Leigh Short Executive Director and Wendy Stone Occupancy Clerk.

A motion to approve the minutes of the Thursday February 9, 2017 meeting was made by Commissioner Wells, seconded by Commissioner Campbell. Motion was approved unanimously.

A motion to approve the Treasurers Report & Disbursements was made by Commissioner Bisch seconded by Commissioner Trout. Motion was approved unanimously.

Executive Director Leigh Short undated the board on the current vacancies.

Received three bids for mowing: Russell's Mowing, Norris City including lot $315.00

Grayville $395.00

Crossville $130.00

Bob's Lawn & Snow Plow Service, Norris City including lot $375.00

Grayville $570.00

Crossville $480.00

K & K Small Job's, Norris City including lot NO BID

Grayville $350.00

Crossville $100.00

Now Therefore be it Resolved by the board of Commissioners of White County Housing Authority that the bid for mowing submitted by Russell's Mowing be accepted for all sites. Russell's past performance was taken into consideration. Motion was made by Commissioner Bisch, seconded by Commissioner Trout. Judy Daubs abstained. Motion was approved.

Motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Campbell, seconded by Commissioner Wells 10:15 a.m. Motion was approved unanimously.
