White County Housing Authority met April 13.

The regular monthly meeting of the White County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners convened at 9:00 a.m., at White County Housing Authority Community Center, Crossville, IL.
Those present for the meeting were: Joe Bisch Vice Chairman, Diana Campbell, Wes Trout, and Christine Wells Commissioners, Leigh Short Executive Director and Wendy Stone Occupancy Clerk,
A motion to approve the minutes of the Thursday March 9, 2017 meeting was made by Commissioner Wells, seconded by Commissioner Campbell. Motion was approved unanimously.
A motion to approve the Treasurers Report & Disbursements was made by Commissioner Trout seconded by Commissioner Wells. Motion was approved unanimously.
Executive Director Leigh Short undated the board on the current vacancies.
The board discussed sending Chip Judge for Structural Pest Control recertification. The board also discussed sending Dave Etheridge to Operations & Maintenance, and Initial Training Course for Removal of Asbestos Containing Resilient Floor Covering Materials recertifications. After a brief discussion the motion was made by Commissioner Wells to send Chip Judge along with one other maintenance man to attend the General Pest Control training, and to send Dave Etheridge for the O & M, and Asbestos recertification training, seconded by Commissioner Trout. Motion was approved unanimously.
Executive Director Leigh Short advised the board that HUD wants all board members phone numbers and emails listed on the HUD website.

Now Therfore be it Resolved by the board of commissioners of White County Housing Authority that the wage increases for FYE 06-30-2018 are as follows: $1040.00 per year for Wendy Stone, $.40 per hour for Chip Judge, $.50 per hour for David Etheridge, $1.00. per hour for Shane Hosick, and S1150.00 a year for Leigh Short. Motion was made by Commissioner Wells, seconded by Commissioner Campbell. Motion was approved unanimously.

Now Therfore be it Resolved by the board of Commissioners of White County Housing Authority to approve the FYE June 30, 2018 Preliminary Budget with changes. Motion was made by Commissioner Wells, seconded by Commissioner Campbell. Motion was approved unanimously.
Motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Trout, seconded by Commissioner Campbell at 9:30 a.m. Motion was approved unanimously.
