Massac Community Unified School District 1 Board of Education met June 5.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Education of Massac County Unit School District #1 was called to order in the Superintendent’s Office, located at 401 Metropolis Street, Metropolis, IL 62960, at 4:00 PM by Board President, Mr. Mark Souders.
Roll call:
Present: Jeff Brugger
Don Koch Jennifer Larrison Kathy Rushing Larry Sommer Mark Souders Bobette Steele
Also Present: Jason Hayes, MCHS Principal
Lisa Monkman, Secretary to the Board of Education Aaron Clark, MCEA Tom Walker, Technology
Public Comments – None.
With a motion from Rushing and a second from Steele the Board voted to Approve the District Title 1 Plan. Roll call: Brugger, Koch, Larrison, Rushing, Sommer, Steele and Souders voted yes.
A motion was made by Steele and seconded by Brugger to add Franklin/Jefferson/Unity to Title 1 Status. Roll call: Brugger, Koch, Larrison, Rushing, Sommer, Steele and Souders voted yes. Motion carried.
With a motion from Koch and a second from Rushing the Board voted to Approve the use of Interfund Loans as needed. Roll call: Brugger, Koch, Larrison, Rushing, Sommer, Steele and Souders voted yes. Motion carried.
At 4:16 PM with a motion from Sommer and a second from Koch the Board voted to adjourn. Roll call: Brugger, Koch, Larrison, Rushing, Sommer, Steele and Souders voted yes. Motion carried.
