McLeansboro Township Board of Trustee met September 12.

The McLeansboro Township Board met September 12, 2017 at the township building located at 105
Carpenter Street. Chairman Clydus Gray called the meeting to order. No public comments were made.
Minutes from the previous months meeting were read. A motion was made by Kyle Ingram and a
second was made by Becky Cross to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Old Business: Clydus noted it was time to send out the annual notice to SCF Marine in St. Louis for
the annual payment for the Coal Mine Road Fund. Eva Lynn Gray read parts of the contract agreement
to the board so everyone would know the terms of the agreement. Bob Drake also explained parts of
the agreement. A notice of the amount owed by SCF Marine will be sent for the difference between
$100,000.00 and the current bank balance in the Coal Mine Road fund of $96,061.42.
New Business: Clydus explained the tax levy and the change made by the County Clerk's office.
Clydus then reported the 3 man audit had been done along with Katrina Roberson Accounting firm.
Motion was made by Dennis Johnson and seconded by Kyle Ingram to approve the audit. Motion
carried.
Road and Bridge Fund, Building and Equipment Fund, and Permanent Road Fund claims were
presented for review and payment. Motion was made by Kyle Ingram and seconded by Becky Cross to
pay the bills. Motion carried.
Town Fund, and Social Security Fund claims were presented for review and payment. Motion was
made by Becky Cross and seconded by Dennis Johnson to pay those bills. Motion carried.
In other business, Clydus mentioned that the computer tower to the spare computer was needing to be
replaced. He contacted Sam Wilson Computers and he had a good used tower for sale so he authorized
that he go ahead and have it workable for the office.
A motion was made by Becky Cross and seconded by Kyle Ingram to adjourn. Motion carried.
