Hamilton County Board of Commissioners met September 26.

The September 26th, 2017 a “Special” Hamilton County Board Meeting was convened pursuant to law at the hour of 8:30 a.m., Law Library, Courthouse, McLeansboro, Illinois.
Chairman Miller asked everyone in attendance to join in the Pledge to the Flag.
On roll call, the following members were noted as being present which represented a quorum:

Chairman Miller noted that there was no guest in attendance that wished to address the board.

New Business:
Chairman Miller entertained a motion to go into Executive Session under
5ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) to discuss Employee Compensation

MOTION by Chad May seconded by PE Cross to enter into Executive Session according to 5ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) to discuss Employee Compensation.
On row call, the members voted as follows:

@ 9:47 a.m. the board returned to regular session.
Based on the evidence present to the board and everyone as witnesses:
MOTION by Chad May seconded by Willie Grubb, given the evidence provided that (2) County Board members, along with the State’s Attorney, Sheriff and the ascending officer who would be allowed representation, to have a meeting to discuss the path of resolution and discuss discrepancies and a path to resolve these discrepancies either
via Union Contract, and or in conjunction with criminal action or accepting the employee’s resignation.
