Fairfield Community High School District 225 Board met Dec. 21.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Board of Education of Fairfield Community High School District #225 met in the study hall for the purpose of a public hearing on the FY2018 budget on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. The following members answered to roll call:

Carter, Jeremy Present McDuffee, J. C. Present

Conrad, Tony Present Merkle, Scott Present

Ellis, Brent Present Miller, Chris Present

Gilbert, Dana Present

Also in attendance were: Jill Fulkerson, Superintendent/Principal; Rhonda Koker; Tiffany Lyons, Donna Reever and members of Student Council; and Jason Musgrave, Robert, Denise and Sam Beach.

There were no public comments made.

Motion by Scott Merkle, seconded by J. C. McDuffee to adjourn from the budget hearing at 6:01 P.M.

The Board of Education of Fairfield Community High School District #225 met in the study hall for regular session on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 6:01 P.M. The following members answered to roll call:

Gilbert, Dana Present

Also in attendance were: Jill Fulkerson, Superintendent/Principal; Rhonda Koker; Tiffany Lyons, Donna Reever and members of Student Council; and Jason Musgrave, Robert, Denise and Sam Beach.

Motion by Scott Merkle, seconded by Brent Ellis to approve the consent agenda which includes the prior month’s board minutes, monthly financial report and payment of bills with the addition of item 8D Consideration and/or action on a new “Politics Club” at FCHS.

Motion by Scott Merkle, seconded by Dana Gilbert to accept the resolution to adopt the 2017-2018 budget.

Motion by Scott Merkle, seconded by Dana Gilbert to accept with regret the letter of resignation from Emili Van Gundy as social worker effective September 28, 2017.
