Galatia Public Library District Board met Jan. 9.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Library Board Meeting was called to order by President, Jerry Davis at 4:00 pm.

Roll call was taken with the following present: Davis, Dilback, Eaton, Fulkerson, and Hunter.

Minutes

A motion was made by Eaton and seconded by Fulkerson to approve the minutes from the November, 2017 meeting. All approved. Motion carried.

The Oath of Office was accepted by Teresa Sisney who will fill the

Galatia Library Board position vacated by Linda Mays.

Financial Report

A motion was made by Fulkerson and seconded by Eaton to approve the financial report from the November, 2017 meeting. All approved. Motion carried.

Director’s Report for December 2017

December 4 – Hamilton County 2nd installment - $658.08

December 9 – “Friends” group open house

December 15 – Per Capita grant submitted -due 1-15-2018

December 19 – Saline County Tax $52,251.34

Upcoming – Members Matter meeting – Harrisburg January 31

Library Certification due March 31,2018

Interlibrary Loan Survey due March 31,2018

President’s Report: None

Committee Report: None

Unfinished Business: None

New Business:

A Roll Call Vote was taken on Sexual Harassment Ord. #17/18-03.

6 Yeas, 0 Nays, and 1 absentee vote were heard approving the Ordinance.

3/5 of the board were present and approved the Annual Financial Report

A motion was made by Fulkerson and seconded by Eaton to adjourn the meeting. All approved. Motion carried.
