Eldorado Memorial Public Library Board met Jan. 11.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Present : Trustees- Jeff Campbell, Bob Barker, Sheila Baird, Mike Vessell, Bookkeeper-Patsy Simpson and Assistant Library Director-Miriam Richardson
Absent : Trustees- Susan Justice, Janet Davis, Walter Baker and Library Director-Felicia Murray
Public Citizenry : None
President Sheila Baird called the meeting to order at 5:03 pm
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as presented.
Bob Barker presented the treasurer’s report. There were no outstanding issues. Mike Vessell made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report and to pay the bills. Jeff Campbell seconded the motion. All voted aye with a roll call vote.
Miriam Richardson presented the Librarian’s Report. There were 2324 items circulated for the month with a year total of 16366. E-items totaled 256 for the month and 1650 for the year. There were 357 loaned items and 669 borrowed items. There were 18 in state loans and 0 out of state loans. Ten new patrons were registered last month for a total of 3827. Computer users for the month numbered 533 for a year to date total of 3491. Total receipts amounted to $71351.00 including $3499.17 from Hamilton County, $67261.59 from Saline County, $152.17 from The City of Eldorado and $.97 from Gallatin County.

1. Raising the ac unit : No further action at this time.

New Business
1. Audit Review : The annual audit was reviewed and accepted with a motion made by Bob Barker and seconded by Mike Vessell. All voted aye with a roll call vote.
2. Sexual Harrasment Revised Ordinance #114 : Revised sexual harassment Ordinance #114 was reviewed and adopted. Jeff Campbell will serve as ethics officer. A motion was made by Bob Barker and seconded by Mike Vessell all voted aye with a roll call vote.
3. Video Surveillance Policy : The library has a video surveillance policy. Felicia Murray is checking on an upgrade for the library’s video surveillance system.
4. Annual Certification : The annual certification has been completed and submitted.
5. State Farm Ins : State Farm Insurance will continue to be the insurance provider for the Eldorado Library. Jeff Campbell made a motion to approve. Mike Vessell seconded the motion. All voted aye with a roll call vote.
6. Econ Statements : Trustees are required to complete an annual economic statement. Trustees will complete the statements when they are available.
