Galatia Public Library District Board met Feb. 27.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Library Board Meeting was called to order by President, Jerry Davis at 4:00 pm.

Roll call was taken with the following present: Davis, Eaton, Fulkerson, Hunter, and Sisney.

Minutes

A motion was made by Eaton and seconded by Fulkerson to approve the minutes from the January, 2018 meeting. All approved. Motion carried.

Financial Report

A motion was made by Fulkerson and seconded by Eaton to approve the financial report from the January, 2018 meeting. All approved. Motion carried.

Directors Report for February 2018

January 10 – Filed property tax exemption, oath of office-Sisney, & list of Statement of Economic Interest.

January 12 – closed due to weather –

January 23 – Illinet Interlibrary Loan Traffic report submitted to state.

January 24 – Library Certification submitted to state.

January 31 – attended Members Matter in Harrisburg

February 1 – Saline County Tax money received - $7693.03

Alice will return from vacation next week

March meeting will return to 5:00 P.M. start time

Committee assignments list updated – see next page

Art teacher contacted to see if she wants to display artwork at library.

New Business: Valentines submitted by Galatia Elementary students Pre-K through 5th grade were judged by the Library Board Members.

Executive Session: None -

Announcements: March meeting will begin at 5:00 P.M.

A motion was made by Eaton and seconded Sisney to adjourn the meeting. All approved. Motion carried.
