City of Carmi City Council met June 19.

Here is the agenda provided by the Council:

Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call.

Approve June 5, 2018, Council Meeting Minutes.

Approve May 2018 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.

Approve and authorize June 2018 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.

For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:

Ordinance #1544, an ordinance establishing the 2018 Prevailing Wage for the City of Carmi, County of White, State of Illinois

Re-appointment of Diane Healy to the Library Board for a three (3) year term from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021

Re-appointment of Denton Aud to the Library Board for a three (3) year term from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021

Re-appointment of Jessica Williams to the Library Board for a three (3) year term from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021

Re-appointment of John Stanley to the Library Board for a three (3) year term from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021

Discuss options regarding Carmi Movie Theater

Façade Improvement Grant: Town and Country Barbers

Mayor Pollard will ask council for authorization to seek bids for sale of excess property that had previously been seized by the Carmi Police Department: 1994 Ford F150 Pickup VIN: 1FTEF15H2RLB56917 SOLD AS IS MINIMUM BID $450.00

Reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard.

Reports from Standing Committees.

Business or comments from visitors.

Closed Session to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
