Schoolaward2

Fairfield Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on July 16.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors employees monthly for providing extraordinary patient care and customer services within and outside the hospital.

In July, Courtney Powell, RT (R)(CT) was selected as the Employee of the Month. Courtney has worked with Fairfield Memorial Hospital since 2005 and is an asset to the Diagnostic Imaging Team. Doing primarily CT scans, Courtney spends a fair amount of time with patients who are battling serious medical issues. Her upbeat personality, bubbly smile, and caring ways put so many of our patients at ease.

“Courtney is an outstanding asset to the radiology department and the hospital. She has willingly taken on the responsibilities of a lead tech in the modality of CT. She has helped implement new programs to the hospital and community such as the Low Dose Lung Screening Program and has helped in keeping up on regulations and radiation dose tracking requirements. She has an amazing heart and love for her patients and co-workers. She is a blessing to this organization now and for the past 13 years.” Stated Devin Deisher, Diagnostic Imaging Director.

“Courtney Powell is another example of the hard-working, dedicated individuals that take care of our patients at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Her level of expertise with CT studies is often commented on by the different Radiologists that she works with and her co-workers have high praise for her personality, skills, and how she treats everyone with a caring and professional attitude. We are blessed to have such wonderful staff.” stated FMH CEO, Katherine Bunting-Williams.
