Fairfield Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.
Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors employees monthly for providing astonishing patient care and customer services within and outside the hospital.
In August, Katlyn Watkinson, Phlebotomist in the Laboratory located in the FMH Medical Arts Complex was selected as the Employee of the Month. Katlyn has worked with Fairfield Memorial Hospital for a little over three years and trained through FMH’s student phlebotomy program. Katlyn has a strong work ethic and takes her job to heart when it comes to patient care.
“She is very pleasant and is kind to both patient and co-workers. She always volunteers to help us out when we want different shifts covered and for any overtime that is available. She is very flexible about working different shifts. She is an asset to the laboratory team.” stated Robbie Hale, MA, MT(AAB) Laboratory Director.
