School discipline: Which SE Illinois districts reported the most violence-related suspensions?

New Hope Community Consolidated School District 6, Gallatin Community Unit School District 7 and Carrier Mills Stonefort Community Unit School District 2 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to violence during the 2016-17 school year in SE Illinois, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
