Southeastern Illinois College issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.

A number of vendors addressing a wide variety of wellness-related topics will be featured at this year’s Health Fair at Southeastern Illinois College. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. until noon in the SIC Harry Crisp Student Center in “B” Building.
Of the booths scheduled to be on hand, there will be different screening options available, including blood pressure by WLC Management and Shawnee Rose Care Center, BMI and blood pressure screenings by Ferrell Hospital, spinal screenings by Steward Chiropractic and blood sugar and blood pressure screenings by Wabash Christian Village.
Flu shots will also be available at an affordable rate provided by Egyptian Home Health.
Coinciding with the health fair, SIC’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will be sponsoring a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the college’s Visual and Performing Arts Center Lobby.
The Health Fair is open to the public. Booth spaces are still available for any health-related organizations who wish to present. Those interested in procuring a space for a booth may call Lori Cox 252-5400, extension 2300.
