Board receives Governance Award from the Illinois Association of School Boards
For the fourth consecutive time, the Board of Education received the School Board Governance Award from the Illinois Association of School Boards. The Governance Award is designed to acknowledge those school boards that have engaged in activities and modeled behaviors that lead to excellence in local school governance. Our Board was one of only 24 Boards (out of nearly 850) across the State to receive this award, and is the only Board, in the history of the award, to receive it four consecutive times.
