Eldorado Memorial Public Library District Board of Trustees met October 11.

Present : Trustees- Jeff Campbell, Walter Baker, Bob Barker, Sheila Baird, Mike Vessell, Susan Justice, Bookkeeper-Patsy Simpson and Library Director-Felicia Murray

President Sheila Baird opened the meeting at 5:04 PM
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as presented.
Bob Barker presented the Treasurer’s Report : There were no outstanding issues. Bob Barker made a motion to accept the report and to pay the bills. Mike Vessell seconded the motion. All voted aye with a roll call vote.
Felicia Murray presented the Librarian’s Report : Circulation for the previous month was 2330 with a year to date total of 7884. There were 274 e-resources circulated for the month and 958 for the year to date. Loaned items totaled 418 with a year to date total of 1274. Borrowed items totaled 680 for the month and 2336 for the year. There were 14 in state loans and 0 out of state loans. Nine new patrons were registered for a total of 3933 patrons. Computer users totaled 337 for the month and 1133 for the year to date. WiFi users numbered 75 for the month and 514 for the year to date. Total receipts amounted to $3258.0 including $2276.48 from Gallatin Co. Felicia Murray recently attended an IHLS Member Day meeting.

New Business
Evaluation of the Library Director : Trustees are to complete a form evaluating the performance of the Library Director.
Grant Updates : Felicia Murray updated the board on various grants. The Mcdonald’s grant was used to purchase audio books. The Back To Books Grant was used to purchase new juvenile literature. Felicia Murray is still in consultation with the architect and contractors about new flooring which will be financed by the Live and Learn Grant.
Per Capita Grant Requirements : Trustees are required to review Chapter 8, “Public Services : Reference and Reader’s Advisory Services, of Serving our Public 3.0 Standards for Illinois Libraries 2014. Trustee Facts File: Chapters 6-10 and The IL Veteran’s History Project.
