Stendeback Family Funeral Home issued the following announcement on.
Ruby C, Jones 89 of Crossville passed away Thursday morning December 6, 2015 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born November 16, 1929 in Carmi, the daughter of Joseph C. and Katherine (Roland) Winter. She married Floyd E. Jones and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1985.
Ruby was a longtime bookkeeper at Crossville Gas and Water. She played the piano for years and was the oldest surviving original member of Zion United Methodist Church. Ruby loved her family.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Janie) Jones of Mt. Vernon, IN; grandsons, Aaron (Leslie) Jones and Brandon Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Wilbert and Ralph Winter and sister, Katherine Daniel.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday December 10, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Van Scott officiating. Burial will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery near Crossville. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home.
