The price of local government in 2016: City of Albion

The City of Albion budget was $2.79 million for its 2016 fiscal year, or $3,068 per household.

That's a decrease of 1.5 percent from 2015, when the city spent $2.83 million, or $3,114 per household.

Albion has 909 households and a population of 1,932.

Since 2001, the City of Albion budget has grown by 27.4 percent, from $2.19 million. The city population has fallen 0.1 percent over the same period, from 1,933.
