Enfield Fire Protection District issued the following announcement on April 4.
Effective immediately, burn permits are now required for any outside burning in Enfield to include campfires. Campfire permits are issued once and are good for the year. There is a list of Wardens on the Town website that you can contact for permits and permission. There is currently a burn ban in effect and there will be no outside burning allowed today. After today, please contact a Warden.
