There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62954, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Southwestern Illinois zip code. The 35-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 33 years old.
