2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 62837?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 62837, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that the 14 released offenders living in the Fairfield zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was an 18-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was an 56-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Anthony Bridges. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014, when he was 27 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
