Wabash Community Unit School District 348 Board met June 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Wabash Community Unit School District #348, Wabash County, met in Special Session on Monday, June 19, 2019 in the library of Mt. Carmel Elementary School.

President Schuler called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.

Theresa Hocking called the roll. Attending in addition to Hocking were Jared Alka, Neil Earnest, Kyle Peach, Ryan Peter, and Tim Schuler. Janice Alka was absent.

Also present were Superintendent Dr. Chuck Bleyer, Mt. Carmel High School (MCHS) Principal Jake Newkirk, Mt. Carmel Junior High School (MCJHS) Principal Steve Holt, Mt. Carmel Grade School (MCGS) Principal Chris Taylor, Mt. Carmel Elementary School (MCES) Principal Sheila Odom, Sharon Thombleson – Transportation, Darlene Underwood –District Treasurer, Dawn Drone –WCEA, Lana Yancey–WCTA, Kristi Perry –WCTA, Danielle Ewald –WCTA, Kevin Madden –WSJD, Jake Bethel – Mt. Carmel Register, Gracie Barnes –MCES, Bethany Mounts –MCES, Telisa Laws – MCES, and District Secretary Kim Zimmer.

Schuler turned the meeting over to Superintendent Bleyer who gave a power point presentation regarding the amended budget for the 2018-2019 school year.

President Schuler asked if anyone had any questions regarding the amended budget. There were no questions asked.

Hocking moved to adjourn the meeting and Earnest seconded the motion. All present voted aye. Janice Alka was absent. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:56 p.m.
