The regular meeting of the Jasper School Board of Education was called to order by Board
President Derek Demaret and Beth Titzer taking the minutes, on July 25, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. with following board members present:
Board Members Present: Derek Demaret, Lachelle Thompson, Lance Hinkle, Andrew Weaver & Beth Titzer
Board Members Absent: Rennie Cates & Chris Barbre
The consent agenda, which includes minutes of previous regular board meeting, executive session, bills and payrolls were then approved on a motion by Lance Hinkle and seconded by Lachelle Thompson. The votes were as follows:

A motion was made by Lachelle Thompson and seconded by Lance Hinkle to employ Crystal Wheeler as paraprofessional/librarian. The votes were as follows:

A motion was made by Lachelle Thompson and seconded by Andrew Weaver to award a three year lease copy machine bid to GFI at $319.15 per month. The votes were as follows:

A motion was made by Lance Hinkle and seconded by Andrew Weaver to accept the resignation of Beth Thomason as classroom aide. The votes were as follows:

A motion was made by Lachelle Thompson and seconded by Lance Hinkle to accept the handbook changes effective for the FY20 school year as presented by the committee for the 2nd reading. The votes were as follows:

A motion was made by Lance Hinkle and seconded by Andrew Weaver to approve the resolution to transfer a portion of the FY 2020 GSA to the O&M Fund. The votes were as follows:

A motion to authorize payment to David Mills for unused vacation was tabled for further discussion.
A motion was made by Lance Hinkle and seconded by Lachelle Thompson to present award certified teachers with a 3.5% increase on base salary, 10% stipend increase for librarian, assistant principal & coaches, increase stipend pay for athletic director to $3,017.03 & award 2 vacation days yearly to assistant principal. The votes were as follows:
