Frontier Community College recently issued the following announcement.
What's in store for your future? Join us for our first-ever SPIN: Student-Parent Information Night! If you're a high school student in Clay, Edwards, or Wayne County, you're invited to join us! The best part? All seniors have a chance to win a $500 scholarship!
SPIN will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from 6-8PM in Workforce Development Center on Frontier's campus. During this event, students and parents can learn firsthand about programs and degrees, meet with instructors and academic advisors, learn about scholarship opportunities and financial aid, and plan for the future. We will also provide a catered dinner, information booths, and great prizes and giveaways!
At the event's conclusion, we will award several $500 tuition scholarships to some lucky high school seniors in attendance! There will be at least one winner from each high school in Clay, Edwards, and Wayne Counties.
Students who plan to attend should complete the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/GTsYX6eqK6sUSHqj7. Those who RSVP will be entered to win a special prize!
For more information, students can meet with their school's guidance counselor. You may also contact Carrie Halbert, Frontier's Coordinator of Recruitment and Retention, at 618-842-3711 or halbertc@iecc.edu.
We can't wait to meet you, students!
