Paula Jo Feazel, age 57 of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 11:45 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Pine Haven in Evansville.
Paula was born on October 4, 1961 in Harrisburg to Paul and Carolyn (Armistead) Feazel. Paula started her career as a Registered Nurse and worked for Deaconess Hospital for 23 years. While she worked for Deaconess, she earned her Master’s Degree and became a Nurse Practitioner and she worked for the Apogee group with Harrisburg Medical Center for five years. She also taught nursing for the Indiana Wesleyan University. Paula was a member of the Gaskins City Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and a wonderful daughter.
Paula is survived by her mother, Carolyn Feazel of Harrisburg; cousins, Martha Simcox, Amy Simcox and Matt Simcox all of Indianapolis; and her two beloved cats, Sammie and Gracie.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Paul Feazel, maternal grandmother, Edith Armistead, and paternal grandparents, Auda “Toby” and Florence Vaughn Feazel.
Graveside services for Paula Jo Feazel will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Jimmie Dale Lambert will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Lupus Foundation of America, or the National Kidney Foundation and envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
