City of Albion City Council met Oct. 21.

The Albion City Council met for a special council session on Nov 12, 2019 6:30 p.m. in the Albion City Hall. Notice to public was called and the Pledge of Allegiance was stated.
Oath of Office was given to new Mayor Eric Schmidt and Councilmen Garrett Kaufman and Doug Loffgren. They were thanked and welcomed to their seats.
Mayor Schmidt called the meeting to order roll call was taken; Pat Hemming, Eric Eirikson, Doug Loffgren, Garrett Kaufman and Jordan Hinkle absent.
Hemming moved to approve the agenda Eirikson seconded it. Motion passed 4-0
The floor was opened up to Growing Albion Inc.
Hemming motioned and Loffgren seconded for a recess due to technical difficulties. Recess passed 4-0.
Hemming motioned and Loffgren seconded to return to meeting at 6:37. Reconvene passed 4-0.
Mary Dooley spoke and gave a power point presentation on the goals and mission of Growing Albion Inc. A request was made in writing from allow Growing Albion Inc. to lease the property north of the library.
An informal suggestion was made to add the lease agreement by Growing Albion Inc. to our regular meeting agenda scheduled for Nov 18, 2019.
Eirikson motioned and Hemming seconded to adjourn. Motion passed 4-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:39pm
