The Board of Education of Allendale School District #17, Wabash County, Illinois, met in regular session on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. The meeting was held at the Allendale School, 101 N. Third Street, Allendale, IL. Acting-President Miles Marcotte called the meeting to order at 6:08 PM.
The following members were present:

Absent was Gary Buchanan. Also present was Supt. Bob Bowser and District Secretary Sarah Courter.
APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA
Richard Gochenour made the motion to approve the Consent Agenda as follows: Minutes of the Regular Meeting held Wednesday, October 16, 2019; Minutes of the Closed Session Meeting held Wednesday, October 16, 2019; Financial Reports – Treasurer’s Report, Activity Fund, Imprest Fund; Gross Payrolls, and Bills exclusive of Payroll. Upon said motion being seconded by Jon Michael Deisher,

ADMINISTRATION – Superintendent Bob Bowser gave updates on the following: Financial
Update - 1% Sales Tax $6,451.10 payable in December for August 2019, 3-Fund Expenditure total $121,430; B/L Report for October Average of B49/L88 with -$393.60 loss for month; Other - Had Food Drive with Allendale Masonic Lodge to help WADI (had over 500 canned goods), New Club “Bee Kind Club” for 7th and 8th graders with co-chairs Dena Tarpley and Audrey McGee.

ESTIMATE OF TAXES TO BE LEVIED FOR 2019
Mike Wilson made the motion to approve the estimated 2019 tax levy as presented (4.99% increase) to be adopted at the December 2019 Board of Education meeting. Upon said motion being seconded by Richard Gochenour, the President put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:

REVIEW AND APPROVE 2019 SCHOOL REPORT CARD
Tia Morgan made the motion to approve the Administrator and Teacher Salary and Benefits 2019-2020 as presented. Upon said motion being seconded by Jon Michael Deisher, the voice vote was taken and the motion carried. (Allendale is Exemplary -- ranked as top 10% in State this year!)

Mike WIlson moved to adjourn to Closed Session at 6:51 PM for Reason #1 - Appointments, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees. Upon said motion being seconded by Mike Wilson, the President put the question, and the roll being called, the following members voted:
