The Board of Education of Allendale School District #17, Wabash County, Illinois, met in regular session on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. The meeting was held at the Allendale School, 101 N. Third Street, Allendale, IL. Acting-President Miles Marcotte called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM.
The following members were present:

Absent was Mike Wilson. Also present was Supt. Bob Bowser, District Secretary, Sarah Courter, and District Treasurer, Debbie Hipsher.
APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA
Beth Etzkorn made the motion to approve the Consent Agenda as follows: Minutes of the Regular Meeting held Wednesday, November 20, 2019; Minutes of the Closed Session Meeting held Wednesday, November 20, 2019; Financial Reports – Treasurer’s Report, Activity Fund, Imprest Fund; Gross Payrolls, and Bills exclusive of Payroll. Upon said motion being seconded by Richard Gochenour, President Gary Buchanan put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:

ADMINISTRATION – Superintendent Bob Bowser gave updates on the following: Financial Update - 1% Sales Tax $6,149.11 payable in January for September 2019, 3-Fund Expenditure total $130,751; B/L Report for November Average of B50/L96 with $316.88 gain for year to date; Building - Boiler issue, ordered new part and should be put on this Friday; Sports - Girl’s BB at St. Mary’s vs. St. Joe - 8th grade night, Girl’s BB Regional at St. Joe, Boy’s BB at Home vs Red Hill - 8th Grade Night on January 13, 2020; Other -
PBIS Field Trip for entire school to Robinson Movie Theater on Thursday, December 19, Christmas Program 12:15 with dismissal at 1:15 on December 20, Christmas Break will be the end of the day December 20 through January 5 - Classes resume January 6, 2020.

ADOPTION OF 2019 TAX LEVY
Richard Gochenour made the motion to approve the 2019 Tax Levy as presented and file the Certificate of Tax Levy with the County Clerks of Wabash and Lawrence Counties. Upon said motion being seconded by Beth Etzkorn, the President put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:

ATHLETICS REQUEST
Beth Etzkorn made the motion to allow 4th grade students to participate in volleyball for the 2020 season.
Upon said motion being seconded by Tia Morgan, the voice vote was taken and the motion carried.

Richard Gochenour made the motion to approve Board Policy 4-190, 4-190 AP1, and 4-190 AP2.
