GALATIA PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT: “Stay at Home” Order issued by Governor Pritzker

Galatia Public Library District issued the following announcement on March 21.

ATTENTION UPDATE:

We are so sorry to have to do this, but for the safety of staff and patrons, as well as to comply with the “Stay at Home” Order issued by Governor Pritzker, The Galatia Public Library will be closed through Monday, April 6th, 2020.

At this time, the library won’t reopen until Tuesday, April 7th, for normal business hours.

During this time, no books will be due and any fines accrued will be waived.

Please be aware the book drop behind the library will not be emptied at this time for safety reasons. Feel free to use sparingly, or just keep materials in your possession until we resume full operations.

Thank you, for your patience during this time. We truly only are considering the best heath for our wonderful patrons and residents! We will post any changes.
