Edwards County Unit School District #1 Board of Education met Feb. 25.

The Special Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Edwards County K-12 Atelier by President, Dale Woods. The following members were present: Lawrence Speir, Jr., Jo Rector, Jayare Buerster, Andrew Spray, Richard Wolfe and Brian Mewes. Also present was Superintendent, David Cowger
Public participation was held
Motion was made by Richard Wolfe and seconded by Andrew Spray for the Consideration and Action on a Resolution providing for the issue of $1,800,000 General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2020, of Community Unit School District 1, Edwards, Wayne, Wabash and Richland Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of increasing the Working Cash Fund of said School District, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, and authorizing the sale of said bonds to the purchaser thereof.
Spray, Rector, Wolfe, Speir and Woods voted yes. Buerster voted no. Mewes abstained. Motion passes
Motion was made by Richard Wolfe and seconded by
Jo Rector that the Special Board Meeting be adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
Speir, Mewes, Buerster, Wolfe, Spray, Rector and Woods voted yes. Motion passes
