North Wayne Community Unit School District 200 Board met March 10.

ROLL CALL
Upon the roll being called, the following were present:

CLOSED SESSION
MOTION
There being no further business to come before the Board in Open Session, Member Crabtree moved, Member Hanlon seconded to adjourn the meeting to Closed Session for the purpose of discussing Student Discipline 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (9). Upon a roll call being taken, the vote was: AYE 5, NAY 0. The motion carried 5-0.
Action will be taken following the Closed Session. The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session at 4:01 PM.
RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
Member Paulsen moved, Member Booton seconded to reconvene in Open Session. Upon a roll call being taken, the vote was: AYE 5, NAY 0. The motion carried 5-0.
Roll call was taken and the open session was reconvened at 5:58 PM.

It was recommended that the Board approve the administrative recommendation related to the student disciplinary matter reviewed in Closed Session.
MOTION Member Paulsen moved, Member Hanlon seconded to approve the student discipline recommendation determined in closed session for student E2019-20-06. Upon a roll call being taken, the vote was: AYE 5, NAY 0. The motion carried 5-0.
Approval of Student Discipline Recommendation, Student E2019-20-07 The Board of Education is authorized to expel students guilty of gross disobedience or misconduct for a period not to exceed two years. The Board, in Closed Session, reviewed information regarding a student discipline issue.
It was recommended that the Board approve the administrative recommendation related to the student disciplinary matter reviewed in Closed Session.
MOTION Member Paulsen moved, Member Crabtree seconded to approve the student discipline recommendation determined in closed session for student E2019-20-07. Upon a roll call being taken, the vote was: AYE 5, NAY 0. The motion carried 5-0.
