Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 62837?

There were four offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live near Illinois zip code 62837, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that two men and two women were released in Fairfield zip code. The median age of the parolees was 41. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old woman convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 48-year-old woman convicted of a property crime in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jason Isle. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2007, when he was 21 years old. He is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
