Southeasterrn Illinois College has reopened the Mary Jo Oldham Center for Child Study, though they have limited the number of children in order to comply with state mandates related to the COVID-19 crisis.

According to reporting by KFVS12, the center will limit classroom size to 10 children and two teachers.

The center will also require all children over 2 years old to wear a mask in order to attend. Likewise, anyone picking up or dropping off children must come alone and wear a mask. Children from the different rooms will not be permitted to intermingle, though they will take turns as rooms in the playground.

The center also will increase sanitization standards, including the ongoing sanitization of all toys.
